Coaching & Phone Counseling
Phone Coaching: The Relationship Coach
Coach is a personal coaching service provided in the office, or over the
telephone. We will help you look at your relationship in a new way. By
working with a personally developed professional assessment tool to
identify areas in your relationship that would work better with adjustment,
we then prioritize, and design a clear plan of action. This is followed by
consistent, focused, supportive accountability that will help you to
accomplish your goals and gain confidence.
The Mars & Venus Coaching Program uses the work of Dr. John Gray from
his ground breaking best-selling book, Men Are From Mars, Women Are
From Venus, which has currently sold over 14 million copies worldwide
and is translated into 42 languages. The program is divided into ten fully
contained sessions complete with workbooks, lecture, discussion, exercises
and homework. Once a couple has completed the assessment and determined the
areas of focus, the coach will choose a minimum of five sessions to be
completed during a contracted period.
"Coaching" on many levels is becoming a household word as people
begin to realize that they 'don't have to do it alone'. The Relationship
Coach will help you to get healthy, advanced, workable relationship skills
and tools under your belt and into long-term memory. You will get
organized, focused, and bring balanced and true happiness and contentment
back into your into your life. The goals you set and reach with this
structured process can be maintained once a couple commits to make it
happen and agree to short term monitoring that comes with "A":
for accountability. The program that The Relationship
Coach has developed will do just this.

started working with Joyce because I wanted to become a better employee.
Joyce has been my Executive Coach now for almost a year and she has
helped me do something much more…become a better person.
Originally, I sought Joyce's coaching to get
through some of the rough spots I thought I had in the work place. I had gone
through an extremely stressful and life changing situation while working
at a Fortune 5 company. I was still feeling the effects of this situation
and I wanted to finally put it behind me. Also, I had some minor
'character flaws' (as I called them) primarily concerned with
frustration, aggression, and confidence that I wanted to work out.
Joyce and I started working on problems that I
knew existed. I was quick to realize that some of these problems were not
'workplace only' problems and that they affected many aspects of my life
including my home life. As I worked on and started to deal with issues,
instead of living with them day after day as most people do, I felt more
comfortable and confident not only in work, but in everything I do. My
home life became more fulfilling as my spouse realized the efforts I was
making to make myself better and the results she was seeing in my
I wish I could say that Joyce gave me all the
answers to my life's problems. Originally, I thought that was how it was
supposed to work. It was very much the opposite. Joyce has made me
realize that most of us know the answers and solutions to our issues,
what we need is someone to help guide us to the realization of what the
solutions (and problems!) are. As a manager to engineers and other
technical people, I found a lot of value in the way Joyce helps people
come to realizations and I often use her methodology in work. Joyce is to
me what only some very fortunate few find at work: a coach and a mentor.
I would recommend the Executive Coaching services
of Joyce Dolberg Rowe to anyone who wants to excel at
work and life. These services are especially useful to executive and
management level persons and/or people seeking opportunities in these
areas. I have experienced so much personal growth from our work it is
very difficult to put into words; however, I consider our work together
vital to my success and happiness. Thank you Joyce!"

The advantages of telephone counseling over in-office face-to-face
counseling is startling. The primary advantage for the couple is that they can
counsel with someone that is simply not available in their area. Some
communities have no trained marriage counselors, and telephone counseling
is the only way to get help. But even in large metropolitan areas, it is
sometimes hard to find a someone trained in a particular method.
The convenience and privacy of the telephone are also tremendous
advantages. Getting to and from a counseling office can sometimes take
hours, and one never knows who one might meet in the waiting room.
Telephone counseling, on the other hand, is something that does not even
require a baby-sitter. Most of my clients are able to entertain their
children with a video while they are talking to me...
The idea that a counselor’s physical presence is essential to counseling
success is simply not true. In fact, we’ve discovered that we can help
people by telephone that we could never have reached in person. They were
either too embarrassed to come to an office or not motivated enough to make
the trip. But by telephone they get all the help they need with complete
privacy and very little initial effort. And the results are dramatic.
